TTC To Host Auditions for THE WILD PARTY 11/29-30

The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC) is seeking a diverse multi-ethnic cast of at least seven women and eight men (possibly adding an ensemble cast) their next production – THE WILD
PARTY as directed by Jenny Fersch. Auditions will take place on November 29 & 30, 2011 from 6:30-9:30pm at TTC's Studio – C413 at Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe St., Hoboken, NJ.

1920s Manhattan decadence provides the backdrop for this tough musical fable with a book by George C. Wolfe & Michael John LaChiusa, and music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa. THE WILD PARTY is based on the poem by Joseph Moncure March. Performances will take place
February 9-12 & 16-19, 2012 in the Monroe Theatrespace in the Monroe Center for the Arts in Hoboken, NJ.

Audition Details:
Non-Equity Auditions: November 29 & 30, 2011 from 6:30-9:30pm at TTC's Studio – C413, Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe St. Hoboken, NJ 07030. Call-backs will be December 1, 2011 at 7pm.

Requirements:
- Non-Equity only, ages 18 and up
- Non-pay, but travel stipends available for some roles
- please prepare 32 bars of two musical theater songs - one ballad,
one uptempo. Songs should show range and acting ability (no rock/pop
songs, please)
- bring your own sheet music, piano accompanist will be provided (but
may not transpose) - no a cappella or tracks
- bring your headshot and resume if applicable
- be prepared for movement (will be taught routine)

Audition Appointments:
- appointments will be taken in 1/2 hour time slots
- walk-ins will be accepted on both audition nights
