St. Matthew Lutheran Church and North Hudson Community Action Corp will present an event in observance of World AIDS Day on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 4:00 PM at Jose Marti Center for Multi Cultural Education, 1800 Summit Avenue, Union City, New Jersey.

The event will consist of Display of "The Names Project" Quilt. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Alberto Lacorta, MD. Available on site will be FREE Rapid HIV, Chlamydia, and Ghonorrhea tests for young adults; and FREE glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure, heart rate, Pulse Oximetery Screenings. There will be a performance by actor/singer Lucio Fernandez and the TapOlé Dance Company, as well a comedy presentation by "Pepito" from the group Fru-Fru International.

The event is sponsored by Saint Matthew Church, North Hudson Community Corp, Jersey City Medical Center, Palisade General Hospital, The Puerto Rican Family Institute, The City Of Union City, and State Senator & Mayor Brian P. Stack.

Free Admission & Refreshments served. Everyone in the community is invited to attend.
