Skyline Theatre Company Presents MY FAIR LADY this Weekend
Skyline Theatre Company, Bergen County's most established professional theatre company and in residence at the Fair Lawn Community Center in Bergen County's Fair Lawn, presents "My Fair Lady" this weekend only from Friday, October 6 through Sunday, October 8.
The musical, based on George Bernard Shaw's 'Pygmalion,' tells the story of cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle who moves into Professor of Phonetics Henry Higgins' house and is put through a grueling course of elocution lessons, eventually transforming into a duchess and the object of affection by a young upper class gentleman.
The musical, typically cited as one of the best musicals of all time and the 'perfect' musical - given its wise and witty book, its delightful songs, and its brilliant lyrics - won the 1957 Tony Award for Best Musical and multiple Tony Awards for its several Broadway revival productions. Lincoln Center has announced a Spring 2018 revival Broadway production.
Skyline Theatre Company's professional theatrical production will be presented Friday, October 6 at 7:30pm, Saturday, October 7 at 7:30pm and Sunday, October 8 at 2:00pm at the George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation in the Fair Lawn Community Center, 10-10 20th Street, in Bergen County's Fair Lawn. The show is directed and choreographed by Skyline Theatre Company's Associate Artistic Director Michael Whitney.
Individual tickets prices range from $20 to $29 and are on sale through Skyline's online box office at SkylineTheatreCompany.org and its in-person box office at 800-474-1299.
