Richard Todd Adams, Ted Keegan and Gary Mauer Set for THE PHANTOMS...UNMASKED! at UCPAC, 10/18

Here's a fun idea: put three former leads from Broadway's longest-running show together with a music director from Broadway's highest-grossing show and have them perform songs of passion and seduction from a bevy of Broadway musical hits.

It's happening at 8:00 p.m. this October 18 at Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, and it's called The Phantoms ... Unmasked! starring ex-Broadway Phantoms Richard Todd Adams, Ted Keegan and Gary Mauer, with musical direction by Peter Candela of Disney's The Lion King.

Tickets are $45, $55 and $65 and can be bought online at www.ucpac.org, by calling (732) 499-8226 or at the UCPAC Box Office, 1601 Irving Street in downtown Rahway.

A special $100 Angel of Music ticket offers playbill listing, priority seating and a post-show Meet the Phantoms Reception.

"The Phantoms ... Unmasked! is a great way to celebrate our theatre's 86th anniversary," says Union County Performing Arts Center executive director Lawrence E. McCullough. "It showcases the best of what patrons have seen at this venue for more than eight decades -- high-quality, original entertainment that speaks to the soul."

Conceived, produced and directed by Stephen Kantrowitz and Jodi Chekofsky, The Phantoms ... Unmasked! features a trio of Phantom stars sharing untold stories of their experiences behind the mask and facing their darkest fears - while performing classics from Les Miserables, Jekyll & Hyde, West Side Story, Show Boat, Carousel, Man of La Mancha, Camelot, Evita, South Pacific, Sweeney Todd, and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Kantrowitz and Chekofsky are veteran producers who have created numerous gala nights featuring Phillip Boykin, Elizabeth Southard, Constantine Maroulis, Robert Cuccioli, Howard McGillin, J. Mark McVey and other Broadway luminaries.

The Phantoms ... Unmasked! brings together a unique convergence of stars and singing styles, says UCPAC executive director McCullough.
