Princeton's Triangle Club Will Return for Reunions Weekend, 5/30-31
The famed Princeton Triangle Club, now in its 123rd year, returns to McCarter Theatre for Reunions Weekend with two performances: Friday, May 30 at 8:00 pm and Saturday, May 31 at 7:00 pm.
Houston, we have a problem: this show is just too funny! Triangle Club's latest all-student written and performed hit show, Zero Gravitas, blasts off for the final frontier, where you'll encounter singing space pirates, robots with feelings, and an ever-expanding universe of laughs that'll split both your sides and the very fabric of space-time. It's a show that's literally figuratively out of this world. Come see what all of the buzz [Aldrin] is about - it's one small step away at McCarter Theatre, one giant leap for our long kickline!
"Think Gilbert and Sullivan and the Three Stooges with a dash of Monty Python. Absurd plots, elaborate costumes, fanciful scenery, jokes and topical references." - Princeton Magazine.
Tickets are $25, $30,& $35. Student and child tickets are $10 (use discount code: STUTIX). To charge tickets by phone, call the McCarter Ticket Office at (609) 258-2787; or online at www.mccarter.org. McCarter Theatre is conveniently located at 91 University Place, Princeton.
Triangle Club is the oldest collegiate musical-comedy troupe in the nation, and the only college group that creates an original, student-written musical each year that is presented on national tour.
Triangle Club is the largest student performing arts organization on the Princeton campus and the only student group to perform on the Matthews stage of McCarter Theatre.
McCarter Theatre was built as a permanent home for Triangle Club and opened its doors on Feb. 21, 1930 with a special performance of the 40th annual Triangle show, The Golden Dog.
