The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) kicked off its first 2011–12 NJSO POPS concert series with "Home for the Holidays with Brian Stokes Mitchell," a festive concert program of timeless carols and holiday favorites featuring Tony Award-winner Brian Stokes Mitchell. He performed holiday classics including "The Christmas Song," "Sleigh Ride" and "The Little Drummer Boy." The program featured the Masterwork Chorus in "This Christmastide," and the New Jersey Youth Chorus took  center stage for "Angel Carol." The NJSO program included other holiday favorites like "White Christmas."

Performances took place on Friday, December 9, (8 p.m.) at the State Theatre in New Brunswick and Saturday, December 10, (8 p.m.) at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark. See photos below!
