Photo Flash: Cuccioli in 'Show Boat' at Broadway Ala Carte

By:

Tony Award-nominee Robert Cuccioli (Jekyll & Hyde, Jacques Brel…) made a special guest appearance as Ravenal in Broadway Ala Carte's Benefit presentation of the classic musical hit, Show Boat, on Sunday, October 21 at 2 PM, at the Rosen Theatre at the Y, One Pike Drive, in Wayne, NJ.  Cuccioli was joined by Broadway favorite Gay Willis (Magnolia in Harold Prince's Tony Award-winning revival of Show Boat).

Based on the novel by Edna Ferber, Show Boat's unforgettable story spans over 40 years in the lives of three generations of show folk and the Cotton Blossom floating theater and features such masterpieces as "Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man," "Make Believe," "You Are Love," "Bill," and of course, the immortal "Ol' Man River."

Show Boat was directed by Broadway veteran Mike O'Carroll (Ragtime, Show Boat revival), with choreography by Adolpho Blaire. Peter Candela (The Lion King) served as Musical Director. New York actor Phillip Boykin (Show Boat National Tour) co-starred as Joe at all performances. For more information visit www.ymha-nj.org/culturalarts
