On Sale 7/20 at NJPAC: Rock Legend Erics Johnson ImageNew Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents GRAMMY-winning rock legend Eric Johnson and his original band performing their landmark 1990 album, Ah Via Musicom, live and in its entirety on Saturday, October 20th.

As a performer, composer and recording artist, Eric Johnson been at the forefront of contemporary music for well over 20 years. Ah Via Musicom, Johnson's third studio album, was certified platinum and introduced his signature hit, "Cliffs of Dover," which won that year's GRAMMY Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. The album also spawned two other chart-topping singles - "Trademark" and "Righteous" - which made Johnson the first artist ever to score three "Top 10" instrumentals. All Music Guide recently described Ah Via Musicom as "a recording that has reached near-classic proportions within the guitar community," and one that has seen Johnson "compared with rock's immortals."

"Eric Johnson plays guitar the way Michelangelo painted ceilings," says The New Age Music Guide, "with a colorful vibrancy that's more real than life." Guitar Player recently classified him as "one of the most respected guitarists on the planet." On his most recent album, 2017's Collage, Johnson combines five new, original songs with inventive covers of titles made famous by Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, B.B. King and more.

Tickets to see Eric Johnson will be available on Friday, July 20th at NJPAC.org or 888.GO.NJPAC (888.466.5722) or by visiting the NJPAC Box office.
