NiCori Studios and Productions in association with Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, "Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, February 24, at 3pm. Performers include Musical Director Andrew David Sotomayor, Singer/Songwriter Meg Flather, Cabaret Duo Rich Flanders and Ceila Berk. The featured performer in the "Young Musician Moment" will be Clifton's Angelia Mocera.

Andrew David Sotomayor has musically directed such productions as Cutman: a boxing musical, Erotic Broadway: Vintage Variety, Counting Squares' Woyzeck, Frankie and Debbie: Live at the Martini Lounge, I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, Providence: A Musical Comedy, and Popesical! As a composer he has provided music and lyrics for 50 Shades of F****d Up as well as scores for Bent, and the short films Cuba 1961: A Love Story and Timeless. His Musical Direction has been seen at NYC's Cotton Club, Laurie Beechman Theater, Stage 72 at the Triad Theater and Don't Tell Mama's.

Singer/songwriter and actress Meg Flather is a two-time Backstage Bistro Award-winning performer and has garnered glowing reviews from top New York City publications. As a comic actress, she has appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Rosie O'Donnell Show. As a singer/songwriter Meg was featured performer for The Gay Men's Health Crisis at New York's historic Webster Hall, the 2002 Vermont Film Festival and the 2003 and 2004 Tribeca Film and Family Festivals. While hosting The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Caroline Rhea described Meg's music as "totally beautiful." Meg's songs are showcased in the independent film, Nobody's Perfect, which screened at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival, Off-Broadway's Acts of Love, Juilliard graduate thesis film Betty on the Bed and a multi-media project dedicated to mental illness and teen suicide prevention, A Secret Best Not Kept. Meg also makes television commercials, corporate films and is the spokesperson for several brands internationally in the world of home shopping. As an expert in field of health and beauty, Meg has appeared in the USA on HSN, SHOP NBC, QVC, The Discovery Channel and The Shopping Channel of Canada and TVSN of Australia. Meg recently trademarked the name, Home Shopping Diva and her one woman show titled, Home Shopping Diva, was one of Times Square Chronicles Online reviewer Stephen Hanks' Top 10 favorite cabaret shows of 2011.

Rich Flanders and Celia Berk bring a fresh sound to the Great American Songbook. Double Standards celebrates their love of that music in a program of duets and personal favorites. Rich's first CD, Yondering, "classic western songs of earth, sky, and the great lone places," received The Will Rogers Cowboy Award. His second album, Ride Away, received nominations from The Academy of Western Artists and The Western Music Association. Celia will release her first solo album in 2013, under the musical direction of Alex Rybeck.

"Music at the Mansion" is a series showcasing talented performers from NYC and NJ. The series is hosted by NYC Cabaret singer and Bloomfield resident Corinna Sowers-Adler and features Deborah Martin on piano. This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts and administered by the Essex County Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs. Series hostess, Corinna Sowers-Adler, has been nominated as "Best Host of a Variety Show" and "Best Female Vocalist" for the 2012 Broadway World Cabaret Awards.

Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the door. Seating begins at 2:30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
