Leanne Weiss to Perform at Rhino Theatre, 1/29
The dynamic, soulful voice of Leanne Weiss has captivated audiences for nearly a decade. What she brings to country music is a unique sound, catchy lyrics and melodies, and a charismatic personality.
Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, this singer-songwriter began singing at a young age.. After graduating with a college degree in Theater, she went on to perform professionally, as a singer and actress. Leanne has been a National Anthem singer at all of New York/New Jersey's major sports venues, including Madison Square Garden and Prudential Center, and her performance of "God Bless America" was televised during the 7th inning stretch at Citi Field for the New York Mets. In addition, she has also been featured on local and college radio stations and TV programs.
Her latest country EP, "Momentum," released in late 2015, is a collaborative effort between Leanne and Portrait Recording Studios owner Chris Badami (The Early November, Jennifer Rostock, The Starting Line) and their team of amazing musicians.
Leanne and her band perform regularly in the New York City/New Jersey area, as well as Nashville and beyond.
