Kelly Briggs Brings Concert to Pitman, 11/09
Broadway veteran Kelly Briggs ( Les Miserables, CATS) along with musical director John McMahon bring their 2013 Broadway World Award winning concert to Sweet Lula's 29 South Broadway in Pitman, NJ on Sunday November 9th.
The evening is part of a Supper Club Series at Sweet Lula's running each month through spring. Briggs is a native of Bordentown, NJ and has recently been seen at Surflight Theatre in Beach Haven as Arthur in Spamalot,Thenardier in Les Mis,and FDR in Annie. He was also seen in the Media Theatre and Bucks County Playhouse productions of "Mame" starring Andrea McArdle & Lea DeLaria ( 2013 BWW Award Best Supporting Actor in a Musical ) as well as Sunset Boulevard starring Ann Crumb. Kelly will be re-creating the role of Thenardier at Media over the 2014 Holidays. Kelly was also seen in the Broadway Theatre of Pitman's production of CATS.
The concert entitled " Broadway & Beyond" will be performed after a dinner which starts at 6:30 p.m. Chef/Owner Anthony Asbury and Hostess Extraordinaire/Owner Lula Asbury preside over this culinary event.
