Junebug 2016 Registration Now Open for Artists, Performers, Writers

VISUAL ARTISTS, PERFORMERS AND WRITERS are invited to register for Metuchen's 9th annual Junebug ArtFest set for each Saturday in June -- June 4, 11, 18, 25, 2016 -- from 6:00-10:00 p.m.
* Deadline for all applications is April 15, 2016.

SPONSORED BY Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce and Metuchen Arts Council, Junebug ArtFest features more than 150 visual and performing artists participating in open air exhibits, window galleries, interactive art events, live music and open-mic sessions. Through its prior eight years, Junebug ArtFest has grown exponentially, both in number of attendees as well as artists and musicians drawn from across New Jersey and surrounding states.

In 2016, Junebug will shift to Saturday evenings to ease the Friday night rush-hour congestion that had accompanied the festival's growth in popularity.

In addition, on Saturday, June 18, Main Street downtown will be closed during Junebug hours to create additional room for live performances and for visitors to peruse the exhibits.

BUT WAIT, there's more: graphic artist/illustrator Chris Reed has accepted the challenge to create the 2016 Junebug Sculpture!!
