Jon B. To Conclude NJPAC's Free Summer Concert Series

Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City presentsJON B. Thursday, August 30th in Chambers Plaza starting at 5PM. Experience an evening of contemporary R&B and Soul by the top selling singer-songwriter-producer. Jon B. first burst onto the pop music scene with his 1995 debut album, Bonafide, which went platinum and received a GRAMMY nomination for "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" for the hit single "Someone to Love." His sophomore effort, Cool Relax, also went platinum and earned multiple Billboard Music Award nominations, including one for Top R&B Artist. On his subsequent LPs, including Pleasures U Like, Stronger Everyday, and Helpless Romantic, Jon B. continued to perfect his smooth blend of classic soul and R&B, all seasoned with touches of hip-hop, rock, reggae, dancehall, and jazz. Singer and songwriter Armen Paul will open the performance.
