Actor/Playwright Frank Ingrasciotta will perform his acclaimed one-man play Blood Type: RAGU next at the Bickford Theatre at the Morris Museum, as part of the A La Carte Series.

Ingrasciotta portrays over 20 characters in this fast-paced tour-de-force journey and describes the show as, "a wonderfully funny and genuinely moving coming-of-age story of an immigrant child's struggle to finding identity, understanding and healing. Its universal themes resonate to anyone who has a family." The Off-Broadway production ran at the Actors Playhouse for a commercial run where the New York Times called it, "a garrulous and enlightening production with a lasting rewarding flavor."

It just returned from an acclaimed Buffalo run at the historic Shea's Performing Arts Center, where it was produced by Tony Award winner and Broadway League Touring CEO Albert Nocciolino. Last year it was awarded top honors at the United Solo Festival for Best Comic Actor and Best Comedic Script. It has also toured theaters and performing arts centers in Albany, Atlanta, Connecticut, New Jersey, Long Island, Staten Island, Atlantic City, and soon to play Rochester and Winnipeg Canada.
