The Eagle Theatre, along with its sister organizations, was recently honored with 18 Perry Award nominations. The Perry Awards are judged and presented by the New Jersey Association of Community Theaters, and are highly anticipated by members of the theatre community each year.

The announcement of nominees by NJACT marks the highest number of nominations ever received by the Eagle Theatre, which, having opened in June of 2009, is one of the youngest theatres in the area. Productions by the Eagle Theatre, as well as by groups associated with the theatre, were nominated in a number of categories, including Outstanding Choreography for Pippin, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Play for One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical for both Chicago and RENT.

The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, New Jersey, continues its main stage season with My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, which will run at 8pm on August 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25; and 3pm on August 12 and 19.
