4th Wall Theatre to Present AVENUE Q, 6/6-15
4th Wall Theatre, a non union professional theatre in Bloomfield, NJ is presenting Avenue Q which opened Off-Broadway in March 2003, co-produced by The New Group and the Vineyard Theatre, and transferred to Broadway in July 2003. 4th Wall's production will be directed by Kate Swan.
Avenue Q tells the story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. He soon discovers that although the residents seem nice, it's clear that this is not your ordinary neighborhood. Together, Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life.
Avenue Q is a winner of the Tony "Triple Crown" for Best Musical and Best Score by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx, and Best Book by Jeff Whitty.
Markus Hauck is the musical director for 4th Wall's production and the show features Michael Campbell, Tara Haight, Gonzalo Valencia, Johnny Vento, Lynette Sheard, Asami Tsuzuki, Madeline Fansler, Danny Egan, Tom Schopper, Kate Hoover and Jacob Haury.
The musical runs June 6, 7, 13, 14 at 8:00 pm and June 8, 15 at 3:00 pm at the Westminster Arts Center in Bloomfield. NJ. More information, is available at www.4thwalltheatre.org. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online or reserved at 973-566-9255.
