A young man is charged with the murder of a wealthy older woman and faces hanging when his most reliable witness – his wife – turns against him on the stand.  Christie’s fascinating characters and intense courtroom drama reach a thrilling finale that only begins with the jury’s verdict.  “Miss Christie has got the audience in her pocket,” wrote the London critics, “the accomplished thriller writer has created a well-made, humorous, exciting case. Guilty of being a great night out.”  

Matt Murtie directs a cast of 19, featuring veteran local actor John Conlon in the role of barrister for the defense, “Sir Wilfred Robarts.”
