Victoria Valentine: Paranormal Investigator Comes to the Hatbox Theatre

By:

Ghost Ship Radio will bring Victoria Valentine: Paranormal Investigator to the Hatbox Theatre on January 27th, March 24th, and May 26th for Sunday Matinee showings at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $17, $14 for members, seniors and students, and $12 for senior members.

It's 1942, and New York City has never been busier. It's a buzzing hub of activity that houses over two million living souls. There's always something going on - some shop open, some show performing, some bar slinging drinks - some reason to keep the lights on. It is the City That Never Sleeps, after all.

But even all those lights can't chase the darkness away completely. Crime and corruption run rampant in shadowy alleys and dimly lit back rooms, and the NYPD have their hands full just trying to keep the city safe. Private investigators have become common as citizens look for alternatives to the overburdened police force. But private investigators are a dime-a-dozen. They handle the mundane: kidnapping, murder, theft.

While evil might lurk in the shadows and in the hearts of men, it's never content being mundane. Evil doesn't play by the rules, and when things take a turn for the paranormal, there's only one Private Eye to call:

New York City houses over two million living souls. Vic Valentine deals with the rest.

Victoria Valentine: Paranormal Investigator is the original creation of Dan Knight and Douglas Osterhoudt, and began as an original podcast series performed in the style of old timey radio plays such as "The Shadow", "The Lone Ranger", and "Dick Tracy".

Starring Hatbox Theatre regular Deidre Bridge as the titular Victoria Valentine, and co-starring the newcomers James Baker, Nicole Knight, and Dan Goldstein.

This performance will feature two cast favorites alongside two all new episodes that will debut at Hatbox Theatre. These stories take place in 1940s New York City, where Victoria takes the cases deemed too strange for her competitors. Join us as we showcase these exciting and harrowing cases live on stage! There will be: Adventure! Chills! Live Foley! Audience Participation!

Hatbox Theatre is a live performance arts space with a mission to create a cooperative community to develop unique, intimate experiences for both audiences and artists. The theater is located at the Steeplegate Mall, 270 Loudon Rd, Concord, NH.
