Two Special Events Announced in May at the Peterborough Players

By:

For one night only on Friday, May 17, at 8:00 pm, the Peterborough Players welcomes back to the stage Comedian Jane Condon (star of last season's Janie Condon: Raw & Unchained) for an evening of laughs! As a stand-up comedian, Jane won the Ladies of Laughter contest, won Audience Favorite (NY) on NBC's Last Comic Standing, and has had audiences rolling in the aisles around the country! Last season, you saw the story of how and why Jane became a comedian. Now, see the stand-up act that has made her one of the brightest stars in comedy. Tickets are $20 and can be ordered through the box office at 603-924-7585 or online at www.peterboroughplayers.org.

On Sunday, May 19, at 1:00 pm, The Players will bring the 25th anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh's history-making The Phantom of the Opera to the big screen. With a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendor of the Royal Albert Hall, the event has captivated cinema audiences around the world. Phantom is Broadway's longest-running show and has been seen by over 100 million people worldwide. This special event features over 200 cast members, orchestra musicians and luminaries involved with Phantom over the past 25 years. Phantom of the Opera at the Albert Hall was filmed in October 2011 and is no longer available for screening-except at the Peterborough Players! Be sure to catch this once-in-a-lifetime chance to see Phantom larger than life on The Players big screen. Tickets are $20 and can be ordered through the box office at 603-924-7585 or online at www.peterboroughplayers.org.

The Peterborough Players is handicapped accessible and is equipped with a hearing assistance system. Free parking available on site.
