The Ogunquit Playhouse at The Music Hall to Present MARY POPPINS, Begin. 12/10
Outstanding musical theater of true Broadway quality returns to Portsmouth! With the great success of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, The Music Hall and The Ogunquit Playhouse have announced their next partnership, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins. This high-flying musical will be landing at The Music Hall beginning with previews on Wednesday December 10 and Thursday December 11, followed by three evening performances and two matinees on December 12, 13, and 14.
"For the first time in our 82 year history, the Ogunquit Playhouse will produce a show for the holidays - this season's stage triumph, Mary Poppins will fly into The Music Hall just in time for Christmas! Our theatre season has expanded from 10 to 23 weeks over the last several years, and now for the first time it goes all the way out to the holidays. We are very excited to partner with The Music Hall once again to present this big Broadway show on their iconic stage," Bradford T. Kenney, Executive Artistic Director.

Winner of 44 major theater awards from around the globe, and with unforgettable songs and breathtaking dance numbers, this family musical features the delightful songs from the popular Disney film including "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and "Chim Chim Cher-ee." Mary Poppins has captivated audiences for generations, and now the enchanting story will dazzle and delight theatre goers of all ages in the historic Music Hall theater in Portsmouth, NH.

Tickets for Mary Poppins go on sale to Music Hall members on Saturday September 6 at 10am for walk-up and noon for phone and internet sales. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Saturday September 20.
