Seacoast Rep Holds GEEK CRED, a Live Nerdy Game Show, Tonight
Which department of the Starship Enterprise wears Yellow? Which of Batman's sidekicks lived the longest? Who participated in the Battle of Five Armies? These are just a few of the questions Geek Cred will use to determine who's the Biggest Nerd on the Seacoast. The one-time game show will take place at the Seacoast Rep tonight, November 15th,. Champions selected by teams from around the region will compete through trivia, performance, feats of strength, and whatever else hosts Brian Kelly and Mark Michael Adams throw at them.
Teams include Jetpack Comics, Double Midnight Comics, Future Imperfect LARP, and Diversions Puzzles & Games. Each team will provide a contribution for the prize in order to field their champion. There will also be an Audience Wild Card participant. The winner will take home a trophy, the prize, and the title of Biggest Nerd.
"The teams are chomping at the bit. It's going to be a tough competition." says Kelly.
Proceeds from Geek Cred will benefit The Seacoast Rep. The show is sponsored by Dorks in Dungeons and produced by Eight/One Productions. Tickets are $10 online or at the door. The competition begins at 7pm with doors at 6:30. Tickets can be purchased at www.seacoastrep.org.
