The Seacoast Repertory Theatre announced today they have added one performance of its holiday production of A Christmas Carol, A Musical Ghost Story on Sunday December 27, 2009 at 7pm. A Christmas Carol which has been playing the entire month of December to SOLD OUT houses has been the toughest ticket to get on the Seacoast this year.

Adapted from the Charles Dickens classic by Jon Kimbell, David James & David Zoffoli , A CHRISTMAS CAROL, A Musical Ghost Story tells the tale of curmudgeonly miser Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by the ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Future hoping to change his destiny and save his soul. For nearly 20 years, this original musical version was a holiday tradition at North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly, Mass. This December, Seacoast Repertory Theatre is thrilled to present it for the first time on the Seacoast. Audiences will travel with Scrooge as he sets off on a strange and magical journey, where he ultimately discovers the true spirit of the holiday season. Filled with all the music and pageantry of the holiday season, A CHRISTMAS CAROL is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit.

Seacoast Repertory Theatre will be welcoming Mr. David Coffee to the Seacoast as he makes his Rep debut as Ebenezer Scrooge, a role he performed for 16 years at NSMT. The cast will also feature Gordon Baird (Jacob Marley), Christine Dulong (Meg, Belle), Ryan Bates (Narrator), Josh Moore (Ghost of Christmas Future/Young Scrooge), Chris Bradley (Bob Cratchit), Mile Burns (Mr. Fezziwig), Carolyn Hause (Mrs. Dilbur/Mrs. Fezziwig), Sara Thomas (Ghost of Christmas Past/Mrs. Cratchit), Patrick Dorow (Fred) and David & Robert DiVincenzo (Pearlies). The cast will also feature children from many local communities including Michael Peele who resides here in Portsmouth, NH who will portray the role of Young Ebenezer. Other area youth in the cast include Courtney, Jenny and Kimberly Burke (Hampton Falls NH), Liam and Morgan Blanchard (Rye NH) Hope Cusano (Hampton NH), Ally and Jessie Foy (East Kingston NH), Marcus Goldberg ( Kennebunk ME ), Bridget Keaveney (Newfields NH), Elle Shaheen (Portsmouth NH) and Victor Tracey (Portsmouth NH).
