Peterborough Players Announce 2018-19 Arts On Screen Season!
The Peterborough Players have announced their 2018-2019 Arts on Screen Season featuring 11 operas presented by the Metropolitan Opera and 8 plays from London's National Theatre Live.
The season brings the brightest stars to Peterborough such as Ian McKellen in King Lear, Ralph Fiennes in Antony and Cleopatra, and Sienna Miller in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. And presents, live in high definition, the finest opera productions from the Metropolitan Opera such as Carmen and La Traviata.
The stunning ultra high resolution cinematography of their Arts on Screen series allows the audience to see every detail and feel as if they have been transported to New York and London while remaining in the comfort of their theatre on Hadley Road. In addition, the Dolby sound is custom designed for their theatre and provides breathtaking realism. For all of their programs, the audience is treated to exclusive interviews with singers, actors, directors, and designers - it is an exclusive backstage pass to some of the greatest companies in the world!
