New Hampshire Theatre Project's Youth Repertory Company will present two mid-semester Scene Study performances on Friday & Saturday, December 6-7, at 7 pm. Admission is free, but reservations are highly recommended and donations are cheerfully accepted.

Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, the NHTP Youth Repertory Company is a pre-professional drama experience for students ages 10-17 who have a serious commitment to the theatre arts. Participants focus on acting techniques during the fall semester, in preparation for spring productions. Scenes and monologues from classic 40's-style comedies and dramas will be featured this December.

The NHTP Youth Repertory Company offers acting training to students who will go on to work in theatre arts, but also focuses on skills important in every walk of life. Alumni have told us they learned: responsibility, professional pride, tolerance and understanding, critical thinking, listening skills, compassion, courage to explore, how to give and earn respect, problem-solving, collaboration and leadership skills, and how to be a better person.

The Junior Repertory Company, under the direction of Meghann Beauchamp assisted by Rachel Vilandre, will present an original version of Robin Hood by Michael Megliola April 4-6, 2014. The Senior Company, directed by Genevieve Aichele & Robin Fowler, will present Joseph Kesselring's beloved comedy Arsenic & Old Lace May 16-25, 2014.
