Performing in concert at Leddy Center in Epping, Friday, Oct. 2, at 7:30pm, Epping, NH native, Mary Gatchell, is a dynamic singer, pianist, and composer living in New York City. With four albums to her credit and music video, Shining Star, she has delighted audiences with her velvety voice and alluring charm with a refreshing unique style all her own in legendary clubs such as the Blue Note, Birdland, Bitter End, CBGB's, Knitting Factory, Boston House of Blues, Ryles, and many more. She sang three concerts with the Rolling Stones on their 50th anniversary tour in Brooklyn's Barclays Center and Newark's Prudential Center. Mary studied voice, piano, and oboe at NYU, graduating Magna cum Laude, with a degree in theory and composition.

Mary studied with renowned composers Jim McNeely and Justin Delio Joio. She has written several pieces, not only with traditional rock instrumentation for her own group, but also for orchestra, choir, and chamber ensembles.

Recently, Mary sang on Broadway as part of the ensemble for the hit TV show, Smash: Bombshell the Musical. Mary is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Siena Summer Music, a chamber music festival in Italy for instrumentalists, opera singers, and composers. New York native Mimi Jones is a multi talented bassist, vocalist, and composer whose elegant sound is an eclectic mix of genres based on a strong jazz foundation. In 2009, she released her debut CD, "A New Day," which is bursting with original compositions seamlessly melting from one song to another and caressed by the warmth of Mimi's sultry voice.


As a "side man" Mimi Jones has performed with such talents as the great Lionel Hampton, Roy Hargrove, Tia Fuller, Sean Jones, and Kenny Barron. A graduate from the Manhattan School of Music she has also studied with Lisle Atkinson, Ron Carter, and Milton Hinton. She toured extensively throughout Europe, South America, the Caribbean Islands, Asia, Africa, and she is a US Ambassador touring 13 countries throughout the world. Mimi Jones has performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival and more.

Internationally renowned drummer and percussionist, Willard Dyson is one of the most acclaimed musicians in the contemporary music scene. Based in New York City since 1986, Willard is one of the most active and sought after drummers in the Big Apple playing at local clubs as well in various Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. He has appeared on the Tonight Show, Soul Train, The Arsenio Hall Show, Good Morning America, Today Show and BET as well as international jazz festivals around the world.

Willard has toured North and South America, Europe New Zealand and Japan sharing the stage with world renowned musicians including Regina Belle, Michael Franks, Cassandra Wilson, Joe Sample, Grady Tate, The Boy's Choir of Harlem, Jimmy Scott, and The New York Voices to name a few. In 2002 Willard toured North Africa, The Middle East and South Asia as part of the U.S. Department of State and Kennedy Center's Jazz Ambassador Program. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Percussion Performance from California State Hayward University and a Master of Music degree in Jazz and Commercial Music from the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. Willard is a recipient of the prestigious scholarship Young Musicians Program from UC Berkeley.
