Leddy Center Announces Summer Camps

Leddy Center Director Elaine Gatchell announces Leddy Center summer camps with Mary Gatchell, Jennifer Solomon, and Melissa Ransdell.

Summer Camp Sing Out I is with Mary Gatchell, for ages 6-9, June 23-27, from 3:30 pm -5:30 pm. Summer Camp Sing Out II with Mary Gatchell is for ages 10-14, June 30-July 3. Camp time for Sing Out II is 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, on Monday and Thursday, and 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday with a recital at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 3. Mary's exciting voice camps are two hour sessions for one week, with a final performance featuring each student in various choral production numbers. Children will learn voice techniques, harmony, choreography, and composition in these fun summer camps! They will also take center stage and perform in Mary's concert at Leddy Center, Mary Gatchell in Concert! October 3. Camp fee is $125.00 and registration fee is $10.

Summer Mini-Musical Camp I is with Jennifer Solomon for ages 5-7, July 28-August 1, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Jen's mini-musical summer camp will be fun for the little ones (ages 5-7), full of music and make-believe! The children will learn valuable performance techniques through acting games, creating skits, and singing songs with a mini-musical performance at the end of the session.

Camp fee is $125. and registration fee is $10.

Summer Mini-Musical Camp II is with Melissa Ransdell for ages 8-10, July 28-August 1, from 12:00 pm-2:00 pm. In this mini-musical summer camp (session II), students will learn the basics of musical theater by playing games, singing, acting and learning stage movement. The students will perform in a mini-musical on the Leddy Center stage at the end of the session! Camp fee is $125. and registration fee is $10.
