Hatbox Theatre Performance Lab will present the workshop "Action-based Acting: Introduction and Refresher" on Saturday, September 22nd, from 2-4pm. Free to Hatbox & CPC members, as well as Hatbox Season Production teams. $10 for adults, $7 for students/seniors.

This workshop for adults, taught by Michael Cobb, past faculty at the National Theatre Conservatory and Guthrie Theater training programs, offers a practical introduction and refresher on American Action-based acting techniques and concepts such as "the reality of doing" and "actions". If you have a monologue you're working on bring it in and apply the work to it immediately; if not, come to work and play anyway!

Hatbox Theatre is a live performance arts space with a mission to create a cooperative community to develop unique, intimate experiences for both audiences and artists.
