New Hampshire Theatre Project Camp Registration Open
Registration is open for New Hampshire Theatre Project's Vacation and Summer Youth Theatre Camps. For 22 years, NHTP Camps have offered unique opportunities to seacoast youth. With a focus on the process of creating theatre together rather than an emphasis on presentational performances, NHTP's programs teach skills in collaboration, communication, leadership, critical thinking, self-discipline, resilience and self-empowerment.
Final performances are all original work created by the campers themselves or custom-designed for each camp using children's literature and traditional tales. One parent writes: NHTP camps have given my daughter an environment that has both supported and facilitated her development. In other theater camp venues she has been intimidated by the competitive process and withdrawn. At NHTP she has felt included; an important part of the ensemble, proud of her performances and most importantly has grown from them.
If you'd like to enroll in a vacation or summer camp, please go directly to NHTP's website: www.ntheatreproject.org. Some scholarships may be available for students with demonstrated need. For additional information about camps or scholarships contact us at 603-431-6644 x 4 orinfo@nhtheatreproject.org.
