The Dutch National Opera presents LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN in French, running from June 15 to July 2.
LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN is an 'opéra fantastique,' in which the Romantic poet Hoffmann remembers the important women in his life in a drunken stupor. Reality and fantasy overlap in this masterpiece.
The show was written by Jacques Offenbach and will be presented with Dutch and English surtitles.
