TPAC Announces Final Cancellation of Liza Minnelli Concert

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center has announced that Liza Minnelli will not perform here in 2011 as management had expected when the artist's November concert was postponed for health reasons.
"Unfortunately, while Minnelli's health has improved, TPAC was unable book a mutually available date on our respective calendars," said Brent Hyams, executive vice president and general manager. "We tried our best to schedule a new date and have greatly appreciated the patience and understanding of patrons who purchased tickets to the concert.
TPAC is contacting ticket-buyers by mail, offering full refunds. TPAC will automatically credit accounts for the total amount to credit cards used for purchase. Other forms of purchase will be refunded by check and mailed.
Minnelli, originally scheduled to perform at TPAC on November 13, went on a six-week hiatus during her 2010 tour, postponing and canceling numerous bookings.
