A musical murder mystery dinner theatre event presented by Street Theatre; company runs Friday and Saturday, January 28 & 29.

Here she comes, Miss Femme Fatale! This is your chance to see what goes on behind the scenes of a glamorous beauty pageant: the mud-slinging, the cat fights and sordid affairs. Root for your candidate of choice and hope that she lives long enough to accept her title. But be careful, you might find yourself right in the middle of the action! Be prepared for a unique interactive musical murder mystery where you can follow the clues and vote for who you think "dunnit." Starring Lynda Bayer, Shane Bridges, and Sarah Obrock.

SPECIAL NOTE: Buy a seat FOR a seat! This event is a joint fundraiser for Street Theatre Company and Tulip Street United Methodist Church. Every ticket purchased buys a seat for Street Theatre's new home!

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change

This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as "the relationship." This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?" It's everything you have ever secretly thought about dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in-laws, but were afraid to admit.

Larry Tobias, director of STC's wildly popular The Great American Trailer Park Musical comes back to Nashville to direct the production, along with musical director, Rollie Mains. The show stars veteran performers Megan Murphy Chambers, Bakari King, Tyson Laemmel, and Cathy Street. Chambers says, "This is a show for anyone who's ever been in love, in lust, dumped, married, divorced, chronically single, happily alone, romantically confused or sexually frustrated. In other words, this is a show for everyone. Seeing I Love You... is perfect for a first date, a night out with pals, your 50th anniversary - everyone will love this show."

Songs like "Single Man Drought," "A Stud and a Babe," and "On the Highway of Love" will leave the audience howling and perhaps bring back memories of their own "unique" dating experiences. Reviewers have said of the show, "It's SEINFELD set to pop music!" and "If this show were a blind date, you'd feel relieved, grateful and pleasantly surprised." Performances are February 3 to 13 with shows Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and matinees on Saturday, February 5th at 2 p.m. and Sunday, February 13th at 5 p.m. Tickets are $16 and $14, are available online at www.streettheatrecompany.org. Performances are at Street Theatre, 1933 Elm Hill Pike, just off the Briley Parkway. For more information, call 615-554-7414.
