SQUABBLES Opens at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre, 10/14

By:

Jennifer Richmond, Dietz Osborne, Ben Dawson, Debbie Kraski and Charlie Winton star in Squabbles, the next show opening at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre in Nashville on Thursday, October 14.

In Squabbles, Jerry Sloan is a successful jingle writer of commercial jingles married to an equally successful lawyer. Living with the happy couple is Jerry's not so happy father-in-law, Abe. When Jerry's mother Mildred is also forced to move in, the fur flies between Abe and Mildred in a succession of confrontations.

Director Martha Wilkinson, who also serves as artistic director at Nashville's venerable dinner theatre venue, describes Squabbles "as the perfect blend of 'sweet' and 'salty.'"

Wilkinson's cast includes Ben Dawson (last seen in The Butler Done It), Debbie Kraski (last seen Christmas Belles), Dietz Osborne (last seen in Rear Widow), Jennifer Richmond (last seen in Rear Widow) and Charlie Winton ( last seen in The Butler Done It ).

Squabbles is presented on the mainstage at Chaffin's Barn, Tuesday through Saturday evenings. The buffet is served from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with curtain at 8 p.m. Two Thursday senior matinees are planned for October 21 and 28; the house opens at 11 a.m., with the show at noon. Senior matinee tickets are $19, bring your own lunch with beverages provided, or you may order a boxed lunch for an additional $8.50.

One Sunday matinee will be performed during the opening weekend - Sunday, October 17 - with the buffet offered from noon to 1:30 p.m. and the show at 2 p.m. Tickets for evening shows and Sunday matinee are $50 for adults, with a $40 ticket price for students 13-18, $30 for children 12 and under (all prices include dinner, show and tax). Show-only tickets are $38 for adults, $30 for children 12 and under and $34 for students.
