Lydia Bushfield's 1940s musical revue, I'll Be Seeing You, opens the 2011 season at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre this week, running January 6 through February 5. Directed by David Compton, the cast features Melodie Madden Adams, Nancy Allen and Jennifer Richmond as three World War II-era factory workers who discover their shared love of music during workday breaks from contributing to the war effort.

According to Bushfield's synopsis for the play, "In the early 1940's Americans found a new sense of patriotism as WWII changed their lives forever. Men went to war. Women went to work. Wives, sisters and girlfriends all did their part for Uncle Sam working in factories producing airplanes, ammunition and even blankets for 'our boys.' This is the musical story of three such women as they meet in the factory break room each day to share laughter hope and heartbreak."

This heartwarming 'musical walk down memory lane' features such songs as "It's Been A Long, Long Time," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" and "I'll Be Seeing You."
