Jersey Boys, Wicked, War Horse and Sister Act On Tap for Nashville Audiences as TPAC Reveals 2013-14 Season

Return engagements of two of Nashville's favorite Broadway musicals and the arrival of a critically lauded international production are among the highlights as The Tennessee Performing Arts Center announced on Tuesday the six Broadway titles in its upcoming 2013-14 HCA/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC series as well as several special engagements.

In a presentation to season ticket holders, group leaders, special guests, and media, TPAC president and CEO Kathleen O'Brien unveiled the six-show season package, including the return of Jersey Boys,new titles We Will Rock You, Ghost, Sister Act, Million Dollar Quartet,andWar Horse,the 2011 Tony Award winner for Best Play andthe first play included in the Broadway series since 2008.

"Everywhere you look Nashville is turning heads and making headlines, and we're proud of the role TPAC plays in our city's thriving creative community by providing audiences with the best of Broadway's cutting-edge storytelling, family-friendly entertainment, and pop culture-filled blockbusters," O'Brien said.

"We begin and end next season with two of the most awarded Broadway productions in recent memory, one of which is returning to Nashville and a debut show we've been pursuing for some time. It's a year of entertainment packed with new musicals, long-awaited returns, worldwide hits, and some of the most jaw-dropping artistry being presented on stage. We can't wait to share it with you."

Among shows included in The 2013-14 HCA/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC Series:

- Jersey Boys, October 29 - November 3, 2013

- We Will Rock You, November 12-17, 2013

- Ghost, February 25 - March 2, 2014

- Sister Act, March 11-16, 2014

- Million Dollar Quartet, May 6-11, 2014

- War Horse, June 3-8, 2014

In addition to the six-show season package, TPAC will host the return of family-favorite Disney's Beauty and the Beast and the "cultural phenomenon" of Wicked, which will open for a four-week run next spring.

Season tickets and group sales are now available. The cost of a six-show season package for the HCA/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC series ranges from $100 to $395, depending on seat location and day of performance. Single tickets for individual shows will go on sale approximately six to eight weeks prior to the performance.

Season ticket holders receive exclusive benefits and services not available to the general public, including free ticket exchange privileges if they have a change of schedule, locked-in prices, no ticket processing fees, additional pre-sale offers to TPAC shows, flexible payment plans, a free one-year subscription to Center Stage magazine, and discount parking.

Current season ticket holders will be mailed information on how to renew their season tickets for the next season. TPAC Subscriber Services is accepting new orders, processed on a "first come-first served" basis after seating assignments are made for renewing season ticket holders.
