Ingrid Michaelson Previews A SUMMER NIGHT OUT Tour with Live Dress Rehearsal at TPAC
Before launching her "A Summer Night Out" Tour, indie-pop sweetheart Ingrid Michaelson will offer a preview performance in the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's James K. Polk Theater on Monday, June 1 at 8:00 p.m.
Tickets for Ingrid Michaelson: A Live Dress Rehearsal are on sale now at TPAC.org, by phone at (615) 782-4040, and in person at the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick Street, in downtown Nashville.Michaelson has vaulted to become a bona-fide pop star. Achievement of her fifth studio album, Lights Out (Cabin 24/Mom+Pop), merely crowned the considerable success she had earned with her previous compositions: beautiful, idiosyncratic songs that have been prominently featured in popular films, television and on regular rotation in commercials. Michaelson embraces a DIY approach to making music - composing her own songs, co-releasing albums on her Cabin 24 imprint, building an organic following through music-licensing, and back in her MySpace days (where she was discovered in 2006). The New York Times declares her songwriting "smart," her tunes "irresistible" and her live show "seamless."
Michaelson's "A Summer Night Out" Tour launces officially on June 3. For tour dates and more information, visit: IngridMichaelson.com.
