Who's who in Tennessee theater? Sometimes, without a program in your hand, it's difficult to know who's playing whom-hence, the revival of one of our most popular features from the past: Hey, Jef, Here's My Headshot...featuring some of the Volunteer State's best-known-or soon-to-be-well-known-thespians.

Today's actor/subject/model is the hardest working man in Nashville theater - or, at least, the busiest - Justin Boyd, who will be appearing as Van in ACT 1's production of Dog Sees God, directed by Jim Manning, running June 5-13 at Darkhorse Theater. His headshot is by photographer Megan Maddox.

Among his most recent credits as an actor are Donkey in Shrek the Musical for Circle Players/Lipscomb University; Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof for The Larry Keeton Theatre; Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical for The Keeton; Pepe in West Side Story for Lipscomb University; and Priest/featured dancer in Jesus Christ Superstar for Street Theatre Company. As a musician (he's play bass), he has been in the pit for Catch Me If You Can for Pull Tight Players, and for both Memphis the Musical and Carrie for Street Theatre Company.
