ComptonPALOOZA to Benefit Local Actor at Nashville Children's Theatre, 12/1

By:

Nashville Children's Theatre, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, and Friends present ComptonPALOOZA!, the Monster Truck Rally of David Compton Benefits! This innovative and dynamic pairing of two of Nashville's hottest shows together for the first time will be on Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!, December 1 at 7pm at Nashville Children's Theatre.

NCT will rock your world with the critically-acclaimed audience pleaser, Schoolhouse Rock, Live! (starring Nashville's Own Fab Four: Jan, Dan, Ren and Ben)... and for one night only, the distinguished opening act will be Nashville's All-American Sweethearts, Doyle and Debbie, performing some of their biggest hits to the very best of their ability! Schoolhouse Rock, Live! and The Doyle and Debbie Show: They go together like pimiento loaf and cheap whiskey.

ComptonPALOOZA! is the Monster Truck Rally of David Compton Benefits! Accept no substitutes! A joint effort of Nashville Childrens Theatre, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, and anyone else we could get to help, proceeds benefitting the medical expenses of a highly respected actor/teacher/sometime waiter who has had enormous impact within Nashville's outstanding theatre community for 25 years, David Compton. David fell victim to an annoying heart seizure in late October and found himself awakening from a medically-induced coma having completely missed Halloween altogether. Irritated, he has bounced back to health with the assistance of a crack medical team and the implantation of some sort of nucleonic cold-fusion personal power plant device (Stark Industries part # WTF12963B44XL, patent pending). But that kind of hardware ain't cheap, folks!

Your $20 ticket price also includes The Chaffin's Barn/Wienerfest/Yazoo VIP All-Access AfterBASH!, featuring delicacies both savory and sweet, happily accompanied by cool, refreshing beer. Tickets for the event are available online at nashvillechildrenstheatre.org, by phone at 615/252-4675, or at the door on the evening of the event.
