Limelight, in East Nashville, will be transformed into a swanky Las Vegas casino and showroom at Street Theatre Company's It's Vegas, Baby! is brought back "by popular demand" on Thursday, August 12 at 7 p.m.

Local actors and playwrights Dietz Osborne and Nate Eppler will emcee the festivities for the successful fundraiser for the Nashville theatre company. The evening features a "floor show" featuring some of the company's most popular performers in a wide variety of numbers onstage.

General admission tickets are $25, with special VIP tickets going for $50. All funds raised by the event will help Street Theatre Company "continue its mission to foster professional, affordable and accessible theatre, music and arts education in Nashville by producing the highest quality performances and educational workshops, and providing artistic opportunities for young people," according to Cathy Street, artistic director for the company.

General admission tickets include $30,000 worth of playing chips, fine hors di'euvres, cash bar, silent auction and the cabaret performance featuring STC company members. Additionally, VIP tickets include an extra $30,000 work of chips, complimentary drink ticket, a special surprise performance and a free commemorative photo from the event. The VIP reception gets under way at 6 p.m., with general admission beginning at 7 p.m. Vegas attire is preferred, but is not required.
