The internationally renowned company Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch is in Montreal at long last with Vollmond, a major work by the late lamented German choreographer Pina Bausch, celebrated as the instigator of the great dance-theatre movement that revolutionized dance and influenced generations of artists.

In Vollmond (full moon), the celebrated choreographer places 12 fabulous dancers around a rock under incessant rainfall, launching them into extreme emotional states to evoke the lust for life, the complexity of male-female relations, desire, misunderstanding and seduction.
