First time in Montreal! Originating in the underground punk rock scene in Tilburg, Holland, the Dutch company T.r.a.s.h. stands out with strident, theatrical work that is extremely physical and scathing. Music, movement, performance, set design and athleticism blend together in uncompromising art that breaks loose from traditional forms of theatre and dance. The young collective will be taking the Cinquième Salle stage by storm with the duos T†Bernadette and Enchanted Room, accompanied by live music. All the ingredients typical of T.r.a.s.h. productions since their debut in 2011 are on display here, “multicoloured, multilingual characters with devastating charisma, loads of altercations and bursts of controversy, obsessive turmoil and all sorts of smashing and shattering” (La Marseillaise, France). Hair-raising.
