Orchestre Métropolitain at Place des Arts

Land of great heart and promise, the USA produced a significant number of important composers during the last century. The American Dream found expression through the genius of four composers who were all inspired by popular culture. The Orchestre Métropolitain’s Principal Clarinet, Simon Aldrich, praised by the Los Angeles Times as a “spectacular player”, performs the concerto that Copland wrote for none other than Benny Goodman.
