We are in 1965. The frame of the piece is structured around the character of Isabelle Tanguay, 27 years, deficient intellectual. Isabelle was a young girl when her mother left the family nest. But his brother and two sisters have lied to him telling him that she was dead. Later, at random for a meeting, Isabelle learns that his mother is still alive. She then rides a subterfuge to get revenge. It brings his brother and sisters in the family home into believing that their mother returns. There, within a week late, Tanguay clan relives the past each reinventing his parents in his own way. Around a table, they confide, empty heart and shout their evil to live as well as their unfulfilled love need.
The orphan Muses, one-piece high, haunting, disturbing, the psychodrama of a family as a result of a lie. Of Michel Marc Bouchard at its best!
