They wowed Montreal audiences in 2010, and now they’re back once again! The dancer Myriam Allard and the singer Hedi “El Moro” Graja will be presenting a new work that promises to enchant audiences. Spectators appreciate the grace, spirit, sensuality and artistic rigour that are the characteristics of La Otra Orilla. Founded in 2006, the company soon established a reputation for dynamic presentations of flamenco dance. When they appeared in Montreal in 2010 with El 12, critics and audiences alike praised their contemporary flamenco, solidly grounded in tradition while “taking just the right liberties to breathe new life into this Andalusian art form without altering it completely” (Le Devoir, Montreal, Canada). Fiery passion guaranteed.
