It was in Austria, with the legendary Vienna Philharmonic, a little more than a year ago, that maestro Nézet-Séguin was introduced to Hélène Grimaud, and this meeting was destined to produce artistic fireworks. The Orchestre Métropolitain brings its 33rd season to a resounding close with a performance of the concerto that brought them together, as well as Bruckner’s Third Symphony, presented as part of a cycle of works by the Austrian composer.
