Presented by Montana Repertory Theatre, this is Neil Simon's Tony-award-winning, coming-of-age comedy about a young man from Brooklyn who spends 10 weeks of Army boot camp in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1943; the wartime sequel to "Brighton Beach Memoirs." Eugene leaves Brooklyn for the first time and must contend not only with a sergeant, who in no way resembles what he's anticipated from James Stewart movies, but hick bunkmates with low I.Q.s, and goyishe mess-hall foods with exotic names like creamed chipped beef. Eugene deals with this alien land by delivering line after line that hit their comedic marks. "The laughter rarely stops in this unexpectedly rewarding comedy." - NY Times.
