AUDITIONS held for William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost, presented by She&Her Productions and Directed by Jeremy Riggs
AUDITIONS: Saturday, May 21st and Sunday, May 22nd from 12:00 - 4:00 PM At The Crane Building 1107 Hickory St, KC MOAudition Information: Auditions will be an open call both days consisting of a prepared monologue not more than two minutes. Monologues should comedic and from the Elizabethan / Jacobean period. (Shakespeare, Jonson, Marlowe, etc.) Please Provide: Headshot/Resume (if available) Callbacks will be held on Sunday, May 22nd from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, by invitation. Rehearsals will begin June 19th and will be Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 - 10pm. Be prepared to list any potential conflicts at time of audition. Production Dates: August 12 - 22 All shows at 8:00 PM At The Birdhouse Theatre in the Crane Building 1107 Hickory St, KC MOSynopsis: Love's Labour's Lost is arguably Shakespeare's funniest comedy. The King of Navarre and his lords, in order to focus on their studies, have sworn that for three years they shall fast, sleep little and above all speak to no women. This is all good until the beautiful daughter of the King of France presents herself and her ladies to the court. No the four men must woo the new-come ladies in private for fear of breaking their sworn oaths.
