Glenn Miller Orchestra Comes to WYO March 26
The Glenn Miller Orchestra swings into the WYO on Tuesday, March 26 at 7:30pm.
With its own distinctive sound, Glenn Miller and His Orchestra made a big impact right before and during World War II having more hit records in one year than anybody in the history of the recording industry.
The distinctive theme song of Glenn Miller and His Orchestra was the beautiful Moonlight Serenade, still the signature tune of the Glenn Miller Orchestra today.
Now, more than 75 years since Glenn Miller first succeeded with the Orchestra bearing his name, it continues to be one of the most recognized and successful Orchestra's in the world. The 18-member Glenn Miller Orchestra led by vocalist Nick Hilscher continues to play many of the original Miller arrangements well as playing more modern selections arranged and performed in the Miller style and sound.
Just as it was in Glenn's day, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is still the most sought-after big band in the world, and you'll only see them at the WYO March 26.
