Closing Weekend for: The Pillowman With echoes of Kafka, Stoppard and The Brothers Grimm, this engaging thriller is a tragicomedy that centers on Katurian, a writer in an unnamed police state, who is being interrogated by two detectives concerning the gruesome content of his short stories and their similarities to a series of brutal child murders. This tragicomedy pits writer against detective, brother against brother, and art against the body politic. For mature audiences only du to language and content.
