Auditions for Bloody Murder at the Billings Studio Theatre will be held March 13 & 14, 2011 at 7:00pm. The show is written by Ed Sala, and will be directed by Dave Kinnard. Performance dates are May 6 - 21, 2011.

"Characters in a British murder mystery rebel against their author in this comedic take on the classic Agatha Christie murder mystery. They players have assembled for a party at Lady Somerset's stately abode: the ingenue; The fading actor; The major; the loyal maid; The mysterious foreign noblewoman; The bumbling inspector; The rich widow; and her ne-'er-do-well nephew. When one of the guests is found murdered, Lady Somerset surprises her guests by refusing to call the police. What's more she tells them the truth."

Roles are available for three females age 25-75 and three males age 30-60. The theatre is located at 1500 Rimrock Rd in Billings, MT. For more information, call the box office at 406-248-1141 or visit the theatre's official website.

Billings Studio Theatre originated as a Sunday evening play-reading group in the homes of passionate early members. As membership in the fledgling theater group grew, donations of space by Eastern Montana College and YWCA allowed the group to become a firmly established part of the community. As time passed, the group expanded to producing plays on radio and on stage and conducting workshops in radio production, makeup, accents and other phases of the theatre.
As Billings Studio Theatre embarks on it's 53rd year we hope you will join us in the magic and excitement of community theatre.
