The Art of the Cinema Presents 'The Hypothesis of the Mokélé-Mbembé'

The Art of the Cinema - "Portrait of an Artist" is showing Marie Voignier's "The Hypothesis of the Mokélé-Mbembé" ("L'Hypothèse du Mokélé Mbembé") in partnership with the New National Museum of Monaco and L'Éclat.

This film was made in southern Cameroon in search of an animal that is unknown to zoology. The Mokélé Mbembé, a terrifying animal that resembles a dinosaur, has featured in the Baka Pygmies' stories for more than two centuries. However, its existence is not recognized scientifically.
